Hosam Aziz was born in Tanta, Egypt, and has dual Italian-Egyptian citizenship.
He has built up considerable experience in tourism and hotel development as a general manager and in the restaurant business as an entrepreneur, and has worked extensively with the markets of the Middle East in the “B2B” import-export field.
Since 2008 he has been involved in local and regional politics in NE Italy, and 2013 saw his election to Udine City Council where he is president of the commission on social policy and citizenship rights.
In his role as founder and CEO of Hat Italian Design, Hosam develops and manages contacts overseas, in addition to organizing promotional activities, negotiation and sales on behalf of Italian and European partners in those territories.
